PANJIT has officially released its 2023 ESG Sustainability Report, unveiling a comprehensive strategic roadmap built upon six key pillars: Sustainability Management, Corporate Integrity, Responsible Supply Chain, Environmental Protection, People-Oriented Development, and Social Inclusion. Through this detailed disclosure, the company reaffirms its long-term commitment to responsible business practices and outlines the actions it is taking to drive measurable, sustainable progress.
Prepared in alignment with the 2021 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, the report also complies with the Taiwan Stock Exchange’s regulations on sustainability reporting. In addition, PANJIT integrates internationally recognized frameworks including the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), creating a globally consistent and locally compliant sustainability disclosure framework. The report delivers an in-depth overview of how PANJIT balances business performance with environmental and social responsibility—each page capturing its firm steps toward a net-zero future.
In January 2024, PANJIT’s Board of Directors approved the establishment of the ESG Promotion Office, signaling a strategic move to embed sustainability governance into the company’s core operations. This newly established unit evolved from the company’s ESG Corporate Sustainability Development Committee (founded in March 2022) and now operates directly under the Board's functional oversight. It comprises three specialized task forces focused on environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance advancement—enhancing cross-functional alignment and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
The 2023 report was compiled under the leadership of the ESG Promotion Office, with data and insights contributed by relevant departments and reviewed by senior executives. The ESG Executive Secretary led the validation and editing process, ensuring data accuracy and cohesive messaging. To enhance transparency and credibility, the report underwent moderate assurance verification by SGS Taiwan, conducted between March 25 and April 23, 2024, based on the AA1000 Assurance Standard (v3). The assurance process emphasized the principles of Inclusivity, Materiality, Responsiveness, and Impact. The finalized and verified report was subsequently reviewed by the Sustainability Development Committee and formally approved by the Board of Directors for publication.
As part of its climate action roadmap, PANJIT plans to complete third-party verification of its 2023 greenhouse gas emissions by August 2024, with the aim of obtaining ISO 14064-1 certification before the end of the year. This initiative reflects PANJIT's commitment to data-driven carbon management and long-term climate responsibility.
At PANJIT, sustainability is not only a duty—it is a strategic driver for long-term value creation. This report serves as both a declaration of progress and a platform for dialogue with the world. We sincerely invite our partners, stakeholders, and the global community to join us in shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.
